1. Information We Collect

When you register for or use DIGIMRKT, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

• Identity data: Full name and username you choose during registration.
• Contact data: WhatsApp phone numbers (primary bot number and secondary confirmation number).
• Technical data: Your service provider API URL (if provided), IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically via server logs.
• Transactional data: Payment reference IDs and subscription status processed through Razorpay. We do not store card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details — these are handled exclusively by Razorpay.
• Usage data: Logs related to your bot's operational activity, such as order timestamps and message flow events, stored for debugging and service continuity.
• Conversation data: Anonymised chat interaction logs between your bot and end-users, collected solely for the purpose of improving our bot's conversational flow and response quality. See Section 5 for full details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected solely for the following purposes:

• To provision and maintain your bot instance on our servers.
• To send you your panel login credentials via email and WhatsApp after activation.
• To process your subscription payment and verify payment status through Razorpay.
• To communicate service updates, downtime notices, or policy changes.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve our platform's reliability.
• To analyse anonymised conversation patterns and improve our bot's intelligence, response accuracy, and conversational flow over time.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering and improving the DIGIMRKT service.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share information only with the following trusted parties, strictly as necessary:

• Razorpay Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. — for payment processing. Their privacy policy governs data they handle. See razorpay.com/privacy.
• Email delivery services — used solely to deliver your panel credentials to your email address at the time of registration.
• Infrastructure providers — server hosting providers that store your bot data under confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority in India.

4. WhatsApp Data

DIGIMRKT operates a WhatsApp bot on your behalf using the phone number you register. All WhatsApp message content processed by your bot passes through our server infrastructure. Beyond what is technically necessary for bot operation and order processing, we handle this data in the following way:

• We do not read message content for commercial purposes, advertising, or profiling.
• We do not monetise the content of your customers' conversations in any form.
• Certain anonymised conversation exchanges may be retained and reviewed internally for the sole purpose of improving our bot's conversational logic (see Section 5).

You are responsible for ensuring your use of WhatsApp via DIGIMRKT complies with WhatsApp's Terms of Service. DIGIMRKT is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms.

5. Conversation Data & Bot Training

To continuously improve the conversational quality of the DIGIMRKT bot, we collect and internally analyse anonymised samples of chat interactions that occur through bot instances on our platform. This process works as follows:

• What we collect: Anonymised message sequences — the inputs sent to the bot and the bot's responses. We do not associate these samples with any specific end-user identity or phone number in our training pipeline.
• What we do not collect: We do not collect, store, or process personally identifiable details (such as names, exact phone numbers, or payment information) as part of conversation training data. Any such identifiers are stripped prior to use in system analysis.
• Purpose: These conversation samples are used exclusively to evaluate and improve the bot's response logic, message flow, menu handling, and conversational accuracy. There is no commercial, advertising, or third-party use of this data.
• Who has access: Only authorised DIGIMRKT technical staff involved in bot development and quality improvement have access to these samples. Access is restricted, logged, and subject to internal confidentiality obligations.
• No data leakage: Conversation training data is never shared, sold, disclosed, or transferred to any third party — including partners, affiliates, or external AI providers. All analysis is conducted in-house on our own infrastructure.
• Retention: Anonymised conversation samples used for training are retained for a maximum of 6 months, after which they are permanently deleted from our training dataset.

By using DIGIMRKT, you acknowledge and consent to this data practice on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, inform your end-users that their interactions with your WhatsApp bot may be used in anonymised form for service improvement purposes. We recommend disclosing this in your own customer-facing communications where appropriate.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. Upon subscription cancellation or non-renewal, your bot folder and associated configuration data are retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, to allow for reactivation. After 30 days, data is irreversibly removed from our servers.

Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations (GST and accounting compliance).

Anonymised conversation samples collected for system training are retained for a maximum of 6 months and permanently deleted thereafter, independent of your subscription status.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted server environments, access controls, and routine security monitoring. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you via your registered WhatsApp number within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident.

8. Your Rights

As a user of DIGIMRKT, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Opt-out of training data use: You may request that conversation data from your bot instance be excluded from our internal training dataset. Submit this request to support@digimrkt.in with the subject line "Training Data Opt-Out". We will action this within 7 business days.

9. Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies — specifically a localStorage preference for dark/light mode. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics scripts.

10. Children's Privacy

DIGIMRKT is a business tool intended for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us immediately at support@digimrkt.in.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers via their registered WhatsApp number at least 7 days before material changes take effect. The updated policy will also be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
